To be able to facilitate any of the Solihull Approach groups for parents. This includes the 10-week ‘Understanding your child’s behaviour’ group for parents, the antenatal 'Understanding pregnancy, labour, birth and your baby', postnatal 'Understanding your baby' and Postnatal Plus groups. Just make sure you have the right Facilitator’s Manual!

The Facilitators’ Manual for the relevant group is a requirement for both facilitators.

However, if you are training a cohort of facilitators who will not all be running a group at the same time, you may be able to share Facilitator Manuals within a cohort to keep costs down. Please discuss this with the Solihull Approach office.

Example content: Applying the Solihull Approach model to the process of running a group, introduction to the relevant Facilitators' Manual, practising running the activities.
